Meet The Performer: Screaming Keating Performing At Our Show Tomorrow Night!

They call him Bristol’s Dapper Tapper and he’s on a mission to bring fun and frolics to the festive season, It’s Screaming Keating!

A lover or stories and a dance-a-holic, Screaming Keating tells us a bit about the act he created for our Hark The Herald Angels Fling show…

“I wanted to put together a ‘Christmas’ act, but I didn’t want to go down the ‘Santa Baby/Tinsel’ road; I wanted to put together a celebration of Midwinter. The act is a dance piece, rather than ‘boylesque’. The Annie Lennox track has a Medieval feel to it, that was my starting point, so images of The Green Man/ Puck inspired the look and feel.

ScreamingKeatingMask“The act begins somber and serious but this all melts away to happiness and joy and celebration with big audience participation for the finish. I just wanted the act to feel like a giant Cwtch.”

Screaming Keating shows us, above, a sneak peek of the mask – which looks magnificent!

Screaming Keating will be performing at our Hark The Herald Angels Fling show at Swansea Grand Theatre Arts Wing tomorrow night. Topping the bill is The Vivid Angel, Tricity Vogue, Lilly Laudanum, Taffy Bo Jangles and a special Christmas duet from Cariad Cwtch and Eddie Kelly. Get there early to get the best seats in the house! Doors open 7.30pm
