With our first Bluestocking show of 2016 about to hit Swansea Grand Theatre in just a few days, we thought it was time to introduce you to yet another performer… The lovely Pearl Grey!
Dubbed one of the UK’s funniest burlesque performers, Pearl Grey is a heady brew of comedy, history – and she’s a bit of a sauce-pot too! Hailing from London, her character-driven routines take in key moments in British history and tradition – check out her changing of the guard act (apparently, in technical terms it’s called the ‘Guard Mounting’ – the real changing of the guard that is!) but we bet you’ve never seen a busby-wearing beauty doing this kind of changing in the ranks before! This sentinel is saucy!
Her signature act, Queenie saw her win Burlesque Idol in 2014 and she will be bringing this bad-ass act to the stage this Saturday! But be warned, she is a fiery red-head and as she’s the queen she can do what she wants!

See Pearl Grey on Saturday’s A New Royal Family show, Swansea Grand Arts Wing. Doors open 7.30pm… Dress regally and appropriately – remember you’ll be in the presence of a lot of royalty – and besides, we always give a prize for the best dressed!
